TVA To Close Southbound Lane Over Pickwick Dam July 25-26
July 19, 2012
HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn. - A portion of the south bound lane of State Route 128 across Pickwick Landing Dam will be closed July 25-26 for work on the dam’s south embankment.
The lane closure will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, July 25, and, if necessary, during the same hours on Thursday, July 26.
Traffic controllers will route two-way traffic on the north bound lane across the dam during the closure. Motorists should expect delays, drive with extra care, and may want to consider other routes.
In the event of inclement weather, the work and closure may be extended or rescheduled.
