On July 25, 2012, TVA issued a finding of no significant impact and the adoption of an environmental assessment (EA) prepared by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).  The USACE EA documented the potential environmental effects of a proposed stream relocation, encapsulation, and fill associated with a retail development in Williamson County, Tennessee.  The proposed stream modifications are associated with the building of a new retail store by Wal-Mart Stores, Incorporated and are subject to a USACE permit under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and TVA approval under Section 26a of the TVA Act.
